Clodagh McCluney (Associate)
Clodagh advises both companies and individuals on all aspects of employment law, in particular on how to manage and resolve the difficult employment problems that can arise in the workplace.
Clodagh’s clients benefit from her experience acting on behalf of both individuals and businesses in employment disputes. She advises employers on misconduct issues, performance and capability, redundancy and the conduct of employment tribunal litigation. She also drafts tailored company handbooks, policies and procedures, contracts and settlement agreements. She supports employees through disciplinary and grievance processes and advises on unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims, which often leads to assisting employees in negotiated exits.
Clodagh has acted for both individual and corporate clients in a wide range of industries, in particular the financial, professional services, media, technology and healthcare sectors.
Clodagh studied law at Trinity College Dublin and then completed a Master’s degree in Global Business Law and Governance at Sciences Po, Paris. Clodagh qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in December 2017, before qualifying in England and Wales and joining Hanidel Jones LLP in February 2019.
