Kim covers all areas of business immigration. He has extensive experience of advising companies in the finance, media and technology sectors.
He has a particular interest in European free movement law and in the implications of Brexit for EU citizens living in the UK, and for their employers.
Kim is listed as a rising star in Legal 500 UK 2020.

- Successfully challenging the revocation of an IT company’s sponsor licence
- Advising on the immigration aspects of a complex employment tribunal claim
- Making a successful visa application for an employee who had been refused entry to the UK and given a ban on re-entry
- Advising EU citizens and their families on how to secure their status in the UK following the vote to leave the EU
Further information
Kim was a solicitor in the immigration team at CMS Cameron McKenna before completing a PhD in sociology and working as a social policy researcher at the Policy Studies Institute and the National Centre for Social Research. He returned to legal practice in 2015.
Kim is active in the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and the European Immigration Lawyers’ Network and he is a member of the Law Society’s Immigration Law Committee. He is listed in The Legal 500 as a next generation immigration lawyer and in Who’s Who Legal as a corporate immigration expert.
