Michael is a partner in Hanidel Jones LLP’s Dispute Resolution team, based in London. He is a highly experienced insolvency and commercial litigation lawyer with expertise in all aspects of corporate recovery, bankruptcy, fraud and enforcement.

- Advising company directors and stakeholders in relation to turnaround and restructuring matters during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Acting for various insolvency office holders in the UK and internationally on claims relating to preference, transactions at an undervalue and in defraud of creditors; assisting company directors in relation to similar claims and their duties generally.
- Defending claims brought by a real estate investment bank in a shareholder dispute.
- Acting for a real estate developer in a $200m international arbitration claim.
- Defending a $150m international arbitration claim commenced by the liquidators of an offshore fund.
- Defending an investment fund in relation to a $180m statutory demand based on convertible loan notes and related claims.
